OpenAtom openKylin Community January 2025 Operations Report
1. Community Highlights
● Release of 2024 OpenAtom openKylin Community Technical Casebook
The 2024 edition of the OpenAtom openKylin Community Technical Casebook has been officially released. Led by the openKylin community, this edition features contributions from industry leaders, renowned universities, and top developers. It includes over 30 new case studies and technological achievements from the past year, focusing on AI integration and AIPC hardware platform adaptation.
2. Technical Progress
● Version Updates
The openKylin 2.0 SP1 update was released at the end of January, featuring updates to various applications, bug fixes, and security patches. The community forum's web version has also launched. Feel free to upgrade and share feedback with us!
● SIG Group Progress
In January, the community saw 260 valid PR submissions and 78 new repository forks, along with 10 public SIG meetings. To date, the community has accumulated over 15,100 valid PRs, 8,280 forks, and held 281 SIG meetings.
3. Ecosystem Growth
● New Community Partners
In January, 32 new partners, including GoodwaySoft and JLC Technology Group, joined the community, bringing the total number of community members to 867.

● Hosted Events
○ OpenAtom Training Camp – openKylin Developer Hands-On Live Sessions
From January 2–9, two live online sessions were held to help developers explore building the next-gen software ecosystem with Kaiming software and creating custom taskbars with the UKUI desktop plugin.
○ openKylin Developer Training Camp Closing Ceremony
On January 18, the closing ceremony of the openKylin Developer Hands-On Camp took place in Beijing. Over 130 developers from Beijing Jiaotong University, Tianjin Normal University, and other institutions participated. Nine outstanding developers were awarded prizes.
5. Infrastructure Development
● Open Source Compliance Platform
○ Compliance Planning: 2025 goals and requirements have been defined.
○ Platform Development: Added package compliance dashboards and exportable compliance scan reports.
○ Compliance Governance: Full compliance risk scans of openKylin repositories have been completed, with continued governance efforts underway.
● Service Updates and Maintenance
○ System Monitoring: Real-time system monitoring ensures prompt issue resolution and stable platform performance.
○ User Feedback: Ongoing user feedback collection leads to continuous product improvements.
○ Security Updates: Weekly security checks and updates ensure data protection and user privacy.
○ Security Hardening: All services have been enhanced with accelerated security features and cloud protection.
