openKylin 1.0 adds Win ecological compatibility, and 60 Win applications are available in the software store, including QQ, WeChat, Enterprise WeChat, QQ Music, Foxmail, CAD View, Tencent WeCloud, Jinshan Typing, PowerWord, etc., covering various categories such as office, social, audio and video, and games, which can meet the daily use needs of most users!
In the recently released version 1.0 of OpenKylin, it supports the new national standard GB 18030-2022 from the underlying library to the application program. It can view and edit text files that comply with the GB 18030-2022 specification normally, and is equipped with the national standard Song typeface series font. The GB 18030-2022 internal code input method is added, completing comprehensive support for the new national standard GB 18030-2022.
On July 6th, the RISC-V Advanced Technology and Ecological Development Seminar, hosted by XINCHUANG HAIHE LABORATORY and co organized by the openKylin open source community and National University of Defense Technology, was held in Tianjin.
The first open source desktop root operating system in China, OpenKylin 1.0, has been heavily released, completing the independent selection and construction of over 20 core components and some ecological application software, marking China's ability to independently select operating system components and build operating systems, filling a gap in this field.
On July 5, 2023, openKylin version 1.0 was officially released! This version is equipped with a dual kernel of 6.1+5.15 by default, completing the independent selection and upgrading of 20+operating system core components, and adding many new features, fixing over a thousand bugs, further improving the overall stability and compatibility of the system, and bringing a better experience to users!
On July 5th, the 2023 Operating System Industry Conference Open Source Construction and Talent Ecological Development Forum was held in Beijing. At this sub forum, openKylin held a licensing ceremony for universities that have joined the community and participated in co construction. Yu Jie, Secretary General of openKylin community , served as the host of the licensing ceremony and introduced the relevant situation of the OpenKylin University Station to everyone.
