The openKylin community InputMethod SIG and fcitx community have worked closely together and achieved the support of fcitx5 dev version for virtual keyboard for the first time at the end of 2022, and successfully developed openKylin virtual keyboard version 1.0 which supports fcitx5 virtual keyboard interface.
Zhu Chen, Community Chairman, was invited to attend the Summit Infrastructure and Software architecture Forum, and shared the theme of "Technical Innovation and Practice of OpenKylin Open Source Operating System".
On May 16, 2023, the "openKylin Campus Salon" was successfully held at Nankai University. Nearly a hundred students from Nankai University and openKylin Secretary General, Yu Jie, openKylin Technical Committee member, Liu Xiaodong, and openKylin Deputy Secretary General, Liu Min, participated in this salon.
