On May 10, the "openKylin Campus Salon" was successfully held at Hunan University. Attendees included Xiao Sheng, Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Information Science and Engineering at Hunan University, Qiu Jiang, Product Director of Jingjiawei Chip Business Unit, Mao Hongbo, Senior Manager of the Support Department of Feiteng Software, Li Jianfeng, Technical Committee Member of openKylin, and nearly a hundred students from Hunan University.
On May 10, the "openKylin Campus Salon" held a special lecture at Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications and was successfully held. Presentations were given by Liu Ke, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Computer Science at Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chen Lijun, Professor of Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Wang Wenzhu, Technical Committee Member of openKylin. Over a hundred students of the School of Computer Science at Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications participated in the event.
On April 27th, the Linux Open Source Application Ecological Salon, hosted by the openKylin community and hosted by Changsha University of Science and Technology, was successfully held. Nearly 200 students from the School of Computer and Communication Engineering at Changsha University of Science and Technology participated in this salon, and their questions were answered by the lecturer on-site, promoting a deeper understanding of open source for more students interested in the topic.
In this FOSSASIA Summit, Jianfeng Li, a member of openKylin Community Technical Committee, introduced the community RISC-V team members, working framework and packaging compilation results; Wenzhu Wang, a member of openKylin Community Technical Committee, introduced the results of the community RISC-V hardware and software adaptation work; Yu-Ning Liang, founder and CEO of openKylin Community Strategic Partner XCALIBYTE, showed the design and parameters related to the world's first RISC-V notebook ROMA and the follow-up plan.
The "Kylin Cup" is a public welfare event, and there is no entry fee for the whole competition. The 12th Kylin Cup will be open for registration on April 22nd, and students from all universities are welcome to participate.
On April 14, the second meeting of CJISB 2023 was successfully held in Beijing.
openKylin was presented as China's open source desktop operating system community, showing the community's open source development history and the results obtained.
