Recently, RISC-V SIG successfully developed in VisionFive 2 plate Adapted to the openKylin operating system, and launched the openKylin system RISC-V architecture QEMU version image. At present, the latest version of the system image can be used normally, which is another new progress of openKylin in promoting the ecological evolution of RISC-V .

Built on Linux 5.15 kernel, openKylin 0.9.5 comes with the all-new UKUI 4.0 desktop environment, optimized for tablet mode, upgraded system interconnectivity functions, and supports device projection, remote control, and fast file transfer, bringing you a different interconnectivity experience. Additionally, a new "graded freezing" mechanism has been added, which implements graded control of system applications to ensure smooth user experience. VirtIO-GPU hardware video acceleration has also been integrated, significantly improving the system's 3D performance and providing smooth graphical display effects.

On December 16, 2022, the third expert seminar of the openKylin community and the founding meeting of the Open Source Compliance SIG were successfully held online. The conference invited experts such as Professor Liu Yang from Nanyang Technological University , Professor Zhou Minghui from Peking University, Professor Sun Hailong from Beihang University , Deputy Director Guo Xue from the Cloud Institute of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and Li Guangjie , technical director of Hongshan Open Source Platform , to participate in the conference. Discussions on the background of the establishment of the Open Source Compliance SIG and follow-up plans.

On November 22, 2022, the second expert seminar and "controllable open source" system review meeting jointly organized by the openKylin community and the Hongshan open source community was successfully held.
